Todays “Daily Inspirstion” comes from Gavin Ho and his Leica M8u and the most sought after Leica lens today, the 50 Summilux ASPH lens. Once again, I am putting up two images as I believe they fit well together. Great captures Gavin! You can see more of his photos at his flickr page here. Thank you Gavin!

nice.
Thanks for the kind words guys. I think that 2nd shot was more luck than skill. It was a dimly lit barn so I was wide open, ISO640 at 1/250s. Alf was breaking in a wild horse.
Overheat, that is an M8 that has been upgraded to M8.2 specs.
what’s the M8u?
These shots are great Gavin. It just goes to show you don’t need a DSLR with 10fps to get a nice action shot. All credit goes to the skill of the photographer rather than the equipment. Having said that though the Summilux certainly has captured a nice portrait of the horse trainer. Lovely bokher.
That’s a pretty damn good action shot for a Leica! LOL! Love how the Bronco leaps as he cinches him up.
When o when is that 50 Summilux going to be in stock? I want one.
