@ Dan: that’s probably due to the HUGE amount of snow this year. This was the first time it snowed, so I was still enthusiastic about it. 😉
So many photos of people using umbrellas in the snow this year. The shape of the umbrella really gives a nice object to focus on in the photo. You made the most of it.
Hello Wim, great capture and in the snow! love the DOF and even the person’s back on the right. A nice warming touch in the snow with the 2 old friends there walking. grats on a wonderful shot.

I just noticed a serious increase in traffic and wondered where it came from. 🙂
Anyway, to fill in the blanks, it was taken with a 5D mark II and a 50mm F1.2 lens on a Christmas market in Leuven.
