Voigtlander 25 f/0.95 for Micro 4/3 – How it’s made
The 25 0.95 Lens for Micro 4/3..in my opinion, this is one of the coolest lenses for Micro 4/3 along with the 17 0.95 and the only negative I have found with it is the size, but believe me when I say that these are gorgeous lenses. Below is a video on how the 25 f/0.95 is made for anyone interested in seeing what goes into this lens. To see samples from it, there are plenty in my Olympus OM-D review. Enjoy!
I look forward to the upcoming 42.5mm f0.95 Voigtländer. A bokeh master for potraits? 😉
Love seeing how lenses are manufactured….and this one is so unique!
can’t spell “depth”!
more depth of field with wider apertures, really?
These Voigtländers are some serious beasts! The 17.5mm f/0.95 has hardly ever parted my E-M5 since I got it, although I possess Olympus 45mm & 12mm + Panasonic 20mm lenses too.
I was about to buy this 25mm Voigtländer too, but then SLR magic announced that they will make a lens with similar specs. Some preliminary comparisons claim it is sharper than the Voigtländer wide open, so I’m postponing my decision between these two until more reviews come out.
Steve, if you have a possibility to test these two side by side (when the SLR magic 25mm f/0.95 is officially released) it would be really great! 🙂
As long as I get one to review it will be reviewed and compared to the Voigtlander. Thanks!
Is there a 1080p version so we can enjoy those images?
Doesn’t appear to be.
Good to know i still have one of this in my camera bag.
Seriously good lens, although I wanted auto-focus function sometime… 🙁
This video is OLD! And you just saw it Steve? How many people have not seen this?
Yes it is old but never posted it here, so thought some may enjoy it. Thx
