Daily Inspiration #832 By Magnus Lundin

Hi Brandon,

I am a street photographer from Alingsas, Sweden. I love reading the Steve Huff site and I get a lot of daily inspiration from it. Thanks´!

It is kind of hard for me to find the time for taking photos. A demanding job and two daughters with tons of activities prevents me from taking photos on a regular basis. But, vacation is a good opportunity. On a family trip to Tenerife this Christmas I got some time to take street photos. I like it old school and often develop to black and white in Lightroom. The camera is my dear and beloved Olympus OM-D EM5 and the lens I used on this occasion is the fabulous Olympus 12, 2.0.

Hope you like the images.

    • Thanks´ Blaufeld! It is a very interesting statue so it is kind of hard to fail 😀

  1. Great photos here, and also on your Flickr feed…love the grain when you zoom in. Are they processed to give that effect ? Or does the lens and camera produce that? Reminds me of Ilford HP 5 !

    • Hi Kelvin. I really love the old fashioned style and the b/w images are processed with VSCOs Tri-X simulation. Maybe a strange thing to do. First, buy a nice camera and a great lens. Second, add grain to simulate how it once was 😀

I am glad to hear you like my images. Thanks´ for your feedback!
