How you can help to keep the reviews coming!

This website has been online since 2004, or 21 years. The first 16 years was devoted to camera reviews and for the last 5 years, audio. Both life passions of mine. While I have grown a bit tired of photography for so many reasons, audio has never left my heart. I have had audio in my life since I was a kid, and systems starting when I was 15. I am now 55 years of age and will turn 56 this year.

When I did camera reviews, it was a breeze to earn income from the review business as there was a thing called “affiliate marketing” and that helped pay the website bills as well as my time that I spent on the reviews, which take me approximately 2 weeks per product. This website at one time received 300+k views per month, these days it is considerably less at around 40k as I now only write maybe once per week or less. I no longer make daily posts as I want each post to mean something and bring something useful to you guys who read what I write.

Since transitioning to Audio Reviews, it has been a challenge to keep going over the l last few years as I do not get paid to write these reviews or film videos. I do not get commission. I do not have any affiliate marketing here with audio. I earn just what google pays me from the ads here and on my YT channel. I have three site sponsors this year but two were paid, one was a trade. Still not enough to pay the now $650 per month hosting bill that I pay for this site that has hundreds of gigs of info, photos, etc.

I am spending more time than ever doing audio reviews and while I love it and enjoy it, without some sort of income here I will have to spend less time doing these or stop them altogether. Some have told me I should start a Patreon page, but I already have something similar that I hope will help keep this moving along for years to come, hoping until I hit 70 if I am still around. I am getting more and more requests to review for manufactures and dealers and it seems as if many of you make purchases due to my reviews here and at YT. That’s awesome and I am thrilled that some of you get something out of all of this. I truly hope you enjoy your purchases and the music.

I do have a way for anyone who wants to help, and it’s cheap, easy to do and it will help this site out greatly. If you get something from my reviews here or my videos, you can join my YouTube member page where I am now posting first looks, sound demos and will keep doing so as long as members are there. It’s $5 to join, and you can do so right here.

I’ve been trying to build up to 100 members for two years but rarely ever mention the members area in videos, and never here until now. I hate asking for any kind of money or thing such as this, so I normally do not. It’s all built into my YouTube channel and easy to join up. Over the last three years, just showing the link in my YouTube video descriptions I have hovered around 50-60 members but never have broken that 60 mark. If I can reach 100 this will just about (almost) pay for the hosting on this site, which is really what I need. My time is cheap these days ; )

If you would like to chip in and only if you find my reviews, videos and posts useful, you can join up here. I thank you, .
