Shot this with the Zeiss Planar 50 at F2. I still have been shooting with these Zeiss lenses and reviews will be in the works soon. I saw this doll for sale at a neighborhood auction and had to snap a pic.

Hey Rick, this was shot at F2, wide open. The Zeiss planar is actually a KILLER 50. I have found no flaws. Just wish I was rich man so I could buy them all!
Steve,
Can I assume that you shot this at f/2? Last week I was taking some photos with my M8.2 and using my Leica 50mm Summicron. The comments were that my photos were out of focus.
Just discovered your site, its great! I stil shoot with the M6 but some day I’ll hope to have the funds for an M9.
Currently very interested in the Zeiss 50mm 1.5 but put off a bit by the issues this lens has…e.g. focus shift.
Regards
Wouter
