Just posted a new video review to YouTube! This time it is for the Schiit Audio Freya + PreAmp and their 20 WPC Aegir Class A Amplifier. A combo that offers tubes (in the pre) and Class A Amplification (in the Aegir) for under $2k for the set. This affordable duo makes some sweet music for not a lot of cash and is also built to a high standard. Clean lines, style and not so large.

You can see more about these products at the Schiit website HERE.

  1. Hi. Nice review. What would you prefer : this system (considering with two Aegir’s as monoblocks) or the Naim Uniti Atom? Does the Schiit system offer so much better performance that compensates for the all in one convenience of the Atom?
    Thanks, Miguel

    • The Atom is spectacular. There will be differences in sound. Which one is better depends on what speakers you use. The Atom will be better with some speakers and the Schiit better with others. The Aegir is more for highly sensitive speakers.
