Well it’s about time!
Funny because I just sent a verbose and semi-angry email to Apple about why they don’t have full raw support for a camera that’s been out for 5 months now, and that I was ready to transfer my entire workflow to Lightroom that came “free” with the M9. I wasn’t really going to do that (I love Aperture too much), but empty threats are always fun
I’m sure I wasn’t alone.
GF1!!! GF1!!! Why is it still missing??!!!!
Oh my bad!! Just read your post but didn’t click the link…….(OOOPPPSSS!!!)
Thanks Steve!!! ………. Jobs
Now I can use Aperture for all my shots!!!
Thanks for updating us Steve!
It’s been quite a struggle for me (longtime Lightroom user) to switch finally over to Aperture.
I like the ease, look and system integration with OS X much more with the Apple product – and yes, it is a very professional product! – I was just really set back with the bugs of the first release (64-bit seamed to have a virtual memory problem) and no RAW support for the M9.
Now I’m happy.
Aperture 3 can’t recognize my Leica Summarit 35mm lens ?? No one has a clue… It recognize my M9 but reported unknow lens… and the photo info can’t record the aperture setting….
Its the same for the Summilux 50mm – Doesn’t recognise the lens or aperture fields in EXIF data.
And the same for the Summicron 35mm – Doesn’t recognise the lens or aperture fields in EXIF data.
Same problem with the Elmarit 28mm ASPH in Aperture 3
