#59 comes from Daniel Fogel and is another snowy scene. I can’t wait for spring so we can start seeing some nice images with some GREEN in them but I did enjoy this one. Daniel sent along the info for his image:

“Photo stats: Taken: Wilmette, IL  60091 Camera: Olympus Trip 35 Film: Fomapan 400, expired 8/2009. Self-developed: R09, 1:50, 11 minutes.

I enjoy your site and loved that you ran the recent article on shooting and processing film.  I shoot primarily black and white film, process it myself and scan the negatives.  I put a lot of them at www.flickr.com/danfogel.

Thanks Daniel!

  1. Great shot Daniel. Looks like you were in the car, I would have been. Your photo makes me want to put a jacket on…..great job….cheers

  2. the grain makes this shot, great job m8

  3. Thanks for the comments. Pete, I was in the car for this shot and that, frankly, was the beauty of it. The snow was driving and I spotted the young woman with the umbrella as she started to walk from the left side of the photo to where you see her. Always good to be lucky.
