Thanks anyway, I should know soon enough how well it works. I’m a 50mm kind of guy, so I use the Monochrom with the 50 Summicron and the see the Nex7 with the 35 Summarit making an awesome color backup.
I believe I did but do not remember how it was.
Steve, did you ever try the NEX7 with the 35mm f/2.5 Summarit-M? I seem to recall you having both at approximately the same time.
I do, but the A6000 is speedier π The NEX-7 was the PREMO NEX body and still has MANY fans. It’s a much nicer body than the 6000
Thanks!
For my money, the NEX-7 represents the pinnacle of the APS-C NEX series. It’s a solid and beautifully designed camera that even by today’s standards performs superbly. This is a great deal.
Just bought it with your link. Thanks Steve.
I used to have one of these back in the day, sold it off a few-years-ago to fund my M Monochrom. This camera will finally give me a color body for shooting my Leica M and Nikon F glass, at a insane price.
This is an amazing deal … even if the long-awaited A7000 is just around the corner. This will be a backup to my other two (2) NEX-7s!
Perhaps the new ‘NEX’ bodies are better at AF and high ISO, but this is a superb camera nonetheless. It really is a steal at this price. And if you change your mind, you can probably sell it at a small profit on eBay.
Do you prefer it to the a6000?
If ordered do we just mention your name?
Steve! Thanks so much. This is going to serve as an awesome back-up or secondary setup for events to my A7r. Super excited, awesome value π
That’s an insane deal! Thanks for the heads up.
Steve, do u prefer this to the A6000?
