The Overgaard Photography Extension Course 2010

I know there are quite a few people out there who want to learn more about photography. Learning about light, exposure, composition and all of the other factors that can make you a great photographer is not always an easy task. Sure, you have your college classes which go over the basics and are time consuming and then you have seminars which can run into the thousands of dollars and involve travel (which can be fun).

My friend Thorsten Overgaard has been doing photo seminars for a while now and I hear they are amazing. I may attend the one in New York in March but sometimes scheduling makes it tough for me to do such things, and I end up missing out. I was just browsing his website and I noticed Thorsten has come up with a great way to bring his photography knowledge to the masses with his new Extension Course. This is so cool! You can sign up for his course and get 16 lessons and assignments in photography with personal critiques and tutorial from Thorsten. All you need is a computer and a camera to sign up, plus it appears to be much less expensive than flying out for a seminar. You can read all of the details on his site HERE.

Sounds like a great way to gain some knowledge and improve as a photographer all at your own pace, in your own home and with your own camera. Very cool! Thanks Thorsten!

  1. I’m going to sign up as soon as I (hopefully) have my Noktor 50mm (CINE) in june.

  2. Thanks for the nice words Steve. The course is very interesting and tailored to fit the needs of many types of photographers.

There is one iPad drawn in April amongst the ones signing up before April 1 (now clarified on the website, thanks Anthony). It’s just such a cool little thing and kind of perfect for an extension course.

  3. is this correct? where says “Enroll before April 1, 2010 and win an Apple iPad (value 499$)” ? very nice ; )
