Before my big review of the new 0.95 Leica Noctilux I decided I would post a dozen of my favorites with the old classic Noctilux from the past two weeks, all shot with the Leica M9. I have a feeling this classic will go up in value next year as it just has something about it. Anyway, here are a few images, all at F1 ranging from ISO 160 to 2500. The review of the new noctilux will be up in about a week, or a little less!

  1. The shot of the pickup with the ladder sticking out is just amazing.

  2. I want this lens badly! Steve, don’t tell me where you live! :) Frankly, I can’t think of a reason to want the Noct 0.95. There isn’t going to be much difference in the light gathering capability but, I agree, it’s all about the feel and for that I’m waiting for the review.

Keep up the good work with all your past reviews!

  3. Indeed, the shot of the truck is wonderful. Strange how such an ordinary scene can be such a powerful shot. Composition is great.
