Traveling once again but updates are scheduled!

Yes, I am once again traveling! I may or may not have access to the site or my email for about a week so if I do not reply to comments or answer emails then you know why 🙂 One thing that is VERY cool is that I have 5 or 6 updates scheduled throughout the week so the site will still have some cool updates. There will be a new article by Max Marrinucci on street shooting with a fast aperture lens as well as a comparison and review of the E-PL1 and Samsung NX10 by a new guest writer Jonathan Wong. There will also be plenty of Daily Inspiration posts throughout the week/weekend so check back every day for something new!

Hopefully I will have internet access where I am staying and if so I will have my Ipad with me so I will check in from time to time and if possible, even update with some new pics because I will be testing out the Panasonic 7-14 and 45 Macro lens on the E-Pl1. I will have some beautiful scenery to test these with so I can’t wait. I will also be shooting more film with the MP but this time some Velvia and Provia. Should be nice!

Just wanted to give a heads up! Enjoy the weeks updates! There will even be a “Friday Film” post with images from the Contax G2 which is an Auto Focus film rangefinder. A friend of mine let me borrow it for a while and I have been having fun with it so check back on Friday for that one.

As always, thanks for visiting the site!

Steve

Leica and Fast glass fans, Be sure to check out Thorsten Overgaards site as he updated it last week with a GREAT article on the Leica 50 Noctilux 0.95!

Great photography from an 18 year old with a creative mind…

I’m sure many of you have seen this already but here is Apple’s Steve Jobs open letter “Thoughts On Flash” and why the Ipod and Ipad do not allow Flash.

Wanna win an Olympus E-Pl1? Check this contest out where you can win not only the E-PL1, but $5000 to go with it! This is an OLYMPUS contest!

  1. Glad you have got your hands on a G2, one of those cameras people seem to either love or hate. Sounds like you are enjoying it so far.

  2. All right! I love the E-pl1. I’m super interested in seeing the Panasonic wide lens, and extra interested in macro. I hope the comparison is good, too! :).

I’m getting a little burnt out on the film stuff (can’t please everybody, right?), but I do like how Velvia looks, so that’s still exciting.
