There is something really moving about the texture of the skin next to the smooth bible.

Truly beautiful. Serenity in the form of a picture. This is uncompromising inspiration!
Stunning shot, excellent composition, well done!
Wonderful photo Simon. Even more wonderful verse about the Word becoming flesh – Christmas. Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas and happy new year!
Beautiful! The skin tones and details in the hands are fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
Wow ! A great, great shot !
Superbly composed shot!
Now that’s working with the light and creating a photograph. Great contrast & tone and as HinBeijing so rightly said it’s one of those shots usually done in B&W but this works so well in colour. A story book image in just one single shot.
Content works on many levels. Thought provoking. Hands are full of character. Very strong composition, very nice, I actually much prefer this in color than B&W, good choice. Happy Christmas.
Wonderful picture. I like this very much.
Epic!
Stunning work, Simon! A picture is worth a thousand words, and this photo goes beyond that by far…
